I’ve raised funding, hired (and fired) execs, and made painful tradeoffs between scale and sanity. After a stint in VC — which I left because I couldn’t stand the performative meetings — I committed to something more meaningful: helping other founders lead better, faster, and with more clarity.

Since then, I’ve coached over 200 venture-backed CEOs, many from Seed to Unicorn. The average company has 100 employees. The average coaching relationship? 2.5+ years.

I live in London with my wife Lorena and our son Matthew. I’m British, fluent in Portuguese, and happiest when I’m lifting weights or writing essays on founder psychology. Most of my deep thinking happens in session—and on my sofa.
